BestFit College Fairs
Face-to-face Connections Between Chinese Students and Admissions Officers
Since 2016, BestFit has held hundreds of college fairs for more than 100 international universities in nearly 30 cities across China. Our college ours feature opportunities for students and schools to make meaningful connections with universities to help students determine if a school is the best fit for them, with activities and events that directly connect admissions officers with students.

Campus 360
Virtual Campus Tours
Students have thousands of universities to choose from but can only visit a tiny handful of campuses. Virtual campus tours help students overcome the limits of time and money to explore campuses that they might have never considered. The technology is in place to make virtual campus tours truly immersive and useful experiences, rather than static slideshows. 5G and ever-faster phones means that students can use a mobile device to explore campuses with ease. No matter if a student has a free cardboard headset or a state of the art VR helmet, students can experience campuses in virtual reality. Campus 360 is a platform that allows students to virtually explore different campuses around the world, send in questions to admissions offices, and even begin the process of applying if they see themselves making a home in a campus they visit. And unlike any other VR tour platform, Campus 360 invites universities to send virtual tours to be included on our platform for free.

College Visits, Facilitated by the Power of Technology
COVID-19 brought about an unprecedented situation: students from around China were unable to attend college information sessions in person, and colleges were unable to come to China. Yet this temporary challenge has resulted in a durable opportunity for students around China: even the best travelled admissions officer can only visit so many places in one year, and as international schools continue to expand and spread in China, virtual student information sessions offer a valuable way for students to hear from colleges they would not otherwise hear from. Our university information webcasts allow students to hear from up to six universities in just one hour, followed by Q&A. These sessions enable hundreds or thousands of prospective students, as well as their teachers and parents, to connect with universities from around the globe in the comfort and safety of their own schools. Whether watching together as a group or dialing in separately, students, parents, and teachers have a unique opportunity to hear from universities.
China Test Optional Initiative (CTOI)
Empowering Students Left Behind by the Gaokao and SAT/ACT
The China Test Optional Initiative’s (CTOI) goal is to help bridge the gap between the growing world-wide test-optional movement in higher education with the extraordinary number of Chinese students that wish to avoid taking or reporting standardized exam scores. But there is no centralized repository of information in Mandarin about which universities are test-optional for international students, test-optional for financial aid, or accept the gaokao. For students interested in applying for a test-optional university, we are here to help by providing an index of universities with test-optional admissions policies.
CTOI is valuable today because of access and reliability issues with the SAT and ACT as well as the harrowing nature of the gaokao exam. Each year, 9 million Chinese students take the Gaokao. Students disenfranchised by the Gaokao must make a difficult, life-altering decision -- attend a second-rate institution at home, wait a year to retake the Gaokao, or apply for a test-optional university abroad. Parallel to this, thousands of students have been affected by SAT and ACT cancellations. Both of these student groups benefit from having a central index of universities that are test optional in this context.
